Asturforesta takes place every other year and is the largest forestry show in Spain. This year the show was held in the northern parts of Spain about 70 km (44 miles) from the town of Oviedo. The Area is called Asturia, a very hilly area to say the least, with a beautiful landscape covered in forests.

The show was a real success and the SP stand quickly filled up with loggers interested to take a closer look at our harvester heads.

Three harvester heads was displayed: The very popular all-round head SP 551 LF III, the new and improved 751 head that since the latest update now goes under the name of SP 761 LF and last but not least the new SP 591 LX, a true heavy duty head perfect for tough conditions like Spanish eucalyptus cuttings.

The two new heads SP 761 LF and SP 591 LX was of course the main attraction in the SP stand and our staff had a tough time attending to all visitors that wanted to know more about the advantages of the SP line of harvester heads.
